In the climactic duel, Ali Baba confronts Omar himself, triumphing through both skill and the bond he’s forged with Fatima, and restores justice to the land.

Trivia:

  • Also released under the alternative title Sinbad Against the Seven Saracens.
  • Starred Italian peplum regular Bruno Piergentili, but bodybuilder actor Gordon Mitchell’s turn as the villain Omar often overshadows the hero in English-language prints.
  • The film was dubbed into English and released straight to American television by AIT (American International Television) in 1965.
  • Produced by Avis Film on a modest budget, it exemplifies the Italian “sword and sandal” craze of the early 1960s.
